The group order for Emergency Essentials has some items again this month that I'd like to draw your attention to.
First, Carrot Dices are on sale for $7.00/can. This is the one vegetable we can buy at the cannery, and the price is about the same. -- .10 more at the cannery. If you get in on this order, you don't have to can it yourself or drive up to the cannery! 12 cans need to be purchased to get this price.
Second, Freeze-dried Mango Chunks are on sale for $16.00/can. Last summer I bought a case of mangoes (6 cans) and paid $103. A case right now is only $96. We LOVE the mangoes. This is Darcy's #1 choice of fruit for her school lunches. A 1/2 cup serving is only 25 calories, too. At least 6 cans need to be purchased to get this price.
They also have reusable hand warmers at a significant discount this month. They are usually $7.95, but are currently being sold for $2.49. Check out the video to see how they work: www.beprepared.com/hotspot.
The other item I want to point out is the famous Low-fat Cinnamon Almond Granola. It is on sale this month for $8.99/can, but I don't think this is a great deal. In the past, we've gotten it for $8 or less. The regular price is $10.95. I will be happy to order it for you if you'd like. We are going to do a Walton Feed order in the next few weeks and there will be granola on that order.
