This blog has not been written on since Lanni was released from her calling. I must admit, it had been a long time since I had been on here, and I can't believe all the work she put into it! Awesome! There is so much good information here that I'll encourage everyone to check out.
I'm Donna Ryan, and I am the new Family Preparedness Specialist for the Mansfield 2nd Ward. This is my coveted calling, but my husband said I would never get it because I wanted it so much! I must tell you, however, that I am in the process of starting a Birth Network for Tarrant County, so much of my time is being spent there. I am also writing a book and creating a website for online natural childbirth classes. Wow!
I love food storage and am passionate about it. I will only pass along deals that I think really are deals. No use in wasting your time or mine!
With that being said, there are some deals to be had right now:
First, the Berry Order is due Feb. 23, so I need all checks and order forms by Sunday Feb. 21. The order forms are in the binders at church. If you need more information, you can email me (donnaryan@juno.com) or leave a comment below.
Second, Emergency Essentials has some good things on their group order. It is also due on Sunday Feb. 21. There will be a copy in the folder at church so you can check out all the group orders. There are several items available on the group order this month. I'll give you a rundown of what I think is a good deal:

Freeze-Dried Zucchini Slices: $10.00/can (reg. $15.95) -- At least 12 cans must be ordered by the group to get this price.

Freeze-Dried Blueberries are also on sale for $24.00/can (reg. $32.95), but there is another company that has better deals on fruit. I'll let you know when those are a better price...

The Charger Flashlight & Mobile Phone Charger: $8.00 (reg.$11.95) -- At least 10 chargers must be order to get this price.
